Reactivate Customer

Who can reactivate a customer

You can only reactivate customers you deactivated with Deactivate Customer. If Ripio deactivated the customer, the request returns 409 Conflict with the error code 20107 (CustomerDeactivatedByRipioException) and nothing is changed.

What happens when a customer is reactivated

The customer is back to isActive: true and every endpoint works for them again.
  • Deposit accounts are re-enabled. In Argentina the same CVU is enabled again at the provider, which may take a few minutes; until then it is not returned as operable.
  • Withdrawal accounts need revalidation: the next time you register the same account, it is validated again.

Webhook notification

Ripio sends an ACCOUNT.REOPENED webhook event to your configured webhook URL. See Account Webhook Events for the payload structure.
